The Casale Collepera agritourism house is situated in the municipality of Stroncone, in the province of Terni, in one of the most beautiful areas of Umbria, "the green heart" of Italy. Perched on a hill overlooking the Terni plain, with well-preserved medieval walls and towers, the town of Stroncone (450m above seal level) has retained the typical feel of a medieval town and today is a living record of 15th and 16th century architecture.

By choosing Stroncone as your base during your stay in Umbria, not only will you have the chance to enjoy all the wonders and initiatives that are on offer in the area (see the section on "things to do"), but you will also be excellently located for trips and excursions to the other major tourist localities of Umbria, such as Assisi, Spoleto and Orvieto, or the capital, Rome, which is 100km away on the convenient motorway network, or a mere 70km along the more pleasant, scenic roads.

How to get here

Stroncone is easy to reach from both the north and south along the A1 motorway (exit at Orte) or taking the E45 expressway, which goes from Cesena to Terni via Perugia.

Collepera agritourism house is just 5 minutes from the centre of Stroncone.
